Sean Graham pleaded guilty April 24 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas to possession with intent to distribute more than 180 grams of methamphetamines.

The investigation began on March 17 after authorities encountered Graham at a local restaurant. He appeared nervous and soon admitted he had methamphetamines in his truck. Law enforcement officials searched his truck and found several bags containing approximately 80 grams of meth.

Law enforcement officials then obtained a search warrant for his residence, where they found an additional 100 grams of meth — some of which was located inside an air freshener. The total weight of meth found in his possession was approximately 180.4 grams.

Graham is scheduled to be sentenced on July 24. At that time, he faces up to life in prison and a possible $10 million fine. Graham will remain in custody pending that hearing.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Patrick Overman is prosecuting the case.
