 Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents working together with Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) closed a stash house preventing a human smuggling attempt in Laredo, Texas.

On March 20, Border Patrol agents assigned to the Laredo South Station were working with DPS, arrived at a home located in south Laredo.  After entering the home, they discovered a total of 11 people that were being held inside the residence. Border Patrol agents took all the people found inside the residence to be processed accordingly. A search of the home also revealed a small amount of Marijuana that was turned over to Texas DPS.

After record checks were conducted on the individuals, it was revealed they were in the country illegally from Mexico and Guatemala.
