United States District Judge Nora Barry Fischer imposed the sentence on Bruce M. Charles, Jr., 32. According to information presented to the court, Charles conspired and passed counterfeit $100, $50, and $20 FRNs throughout the Western District of Pennsylvania. Assistant United States Attorney Shardul S. Desai prosecuted this case on behalf of the government. United States Attorney Brady commended the United States Secret Service for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Charles.
