The U.S. Secret Service has worked closely for weeks with the Metropolitan Police Department, the U.S. Park Police, the National Park Service and our other regional partners in the District of Columbia to ensure a safe weekend for everyone traveling to, or already visiting, the Nations Capital. We have a robust security plan in place consistent with our organizational and legislated responsibilities.
