(Washington, D.C.) - United States Secret Service Director Joseph P. Clancy has announced the

appointment of six veteran agents, three to the position of Assistant Director and three to the position of

Special Agent in Charge of local Secret Service Field Offices.

Throughout their careers, these individuals have developed the reputation of being leaders who are well

respected within the Secret Service and the greater law enforcement community, said Clancy.

Robert P. Buster has been appointed Assistant Director of the Office of Protective Operations. He has

oversight of the agencys protective policies, programs, and operations. Previous posts include Special

Agent in Charge and Deputy Special Agent in Charge of Operations of the Presidential Protective

Division and Deputy Assistant Director of the Office of Professional Responsibility.

Percy L. Howard has been appointed Assistant Director of the Office of Professional Responsibility. He

administers the enterprise-wide oversight of structured programs designed to increase accountability,

enhance stewardship, verify compliance, maintain integrity, and assist the agencys leadership in

managing missions in a collaborative, transparent manner. Previous posts include Special Agent in

Charge of the Secret Service Training Academy, Deputy Assistant Director of the Office of

Investigations and Deputy Assistant Director of the Office of Protective Operations.

Cynthia R. Wofford has been appointed Assistant Director of the Office of Training. She administers the

policies and programs associated with Secret Service training and employee development. Previous

posts include Special Agent in Charge of the Philadelphia Field Office, Deputy Assistant Director of the

Office of Strategic Intelligence and Information and Deputy Assistant Director of the Office of

Investigation.

Yvonne A. DiCristoforo has been appointed Special Agent in Charge of the Cincinnati Field Office,

effective April 2017. She will have executive oversight over the Southern District of Ohio, in addition to

Boone, Kenton and Campbell County, Kentucky. Previous posts include the position of Deputy

Assistant Director of the Office of Government and Public Affairs.

Jerald R. Page has been appointed Special Agent in Charge of the Richmond Field Office, effective

April 2017. The Richmond Field Office is responsible for the areas of Richmond, Roanoke and Norfolk,

Virginia. Previous posts include the position of Deputy Special Agent in Charge of the Houston Field

Office.

Steven M. Stanford has been appointed Special Agent in Charge of the Honolulu Field Office, effective

May 2017. The office covers the State of Hawaii. Internationally, the Honolulu Field Office covers

Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Japan, Korea, Nepal and Pakistan. The Honolulu

Field Office also has resident offices in Bangkok, Thailand; Beijing, China; Hong Kong, Guam; and

Sydney, Australia, which cover the remainder of South East Asia. Previous posts include the position of

Special Agent in Charge of the Counter Surveillance Division.
