Houston-area man imprisoned for smuggling 20 noncitizens in locked trailer

A Houston-area man was sentenced to federal prison May 10 for smuggling 20 unlawfully present noncitizens in the locked trailer of a shipping truck. The investigation that led to the prison sentence was conducted by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Houston’s Corpus Christi office.


ERO Houston removes Mexican fugitive wanted for homicide

Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Houston, with assistance from ERO Mexico and the Security Alliance for Fugitive Enforcement (SAFE) Task Force, removed Angel Morales Colores, a 46-year-old Mexican fugitive, from the United States on May 11. Morales is wanted in Mexico for aggravated homicide.
