News Release: ATLANTA More than three dozen individuals have been sentenced for their involvement in a large-scale fraud and money laundering operation that targeted individuals, corporations, and financial institutions throughout the United States. The defendants used business email compromise schemes, romance fraud scams, and retirement account scams, among other frauds, to steal more than $30 million from numerous victims.

CBP to align Hours of Operations at the East Richford Port of Entry

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will be reducing the hours of operations for the East Richford, Vermont Port of Entry (POE) from its current operating hours of 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to align with the Glen Sutton Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) POE operating hours. CBP will continue operating two additional 24-hour POEs within 12 miles of East Richford, ensuring minimal impact on local traffic.
